Participation in the Establishment of a Water Demo Center in China
IsCham Beijing reached out to Israeli water companies to invite them to participate in the establishment of a water demo center in China. The demonstration center will promote the many different kinds of water treatment technology that Israeli companies have to offer. Based on the success of similar projects in the field of agriculture and China’s most recent five year plan’s emphasis on the importance of the environment and the water industries, IsCham Beijing is confident that this demonstration center will yield positive results for the companies involved, China and the relationship between China and Israel. The main sectors that the demo center will focus on are water treatment recovery, water resources management, water control quality control, water conservation and sludge
treatment. Each Israeli company will be able to demonstrate and market its water treatment technologies.

Water Strategy Forum 2011
IsCham Beijing together with the Israeli Trade Mission to China are glad to invite the Israeli Water Companies to participate in the following event, organized by h2o-china.com and Tsinghua University. This event is an annual forum that started in 2003, with over 800 participants from the water industry in China - both industry and government top figures. It is strongly supported by UNIDO (the UN department) which is very enthusiastic to learn more about Israeli technologies and their potential contribution to China's shortage in water and its willingness to become a green superpower.
We therefor encourage our water forum to join this event and promote their companies amongst potential clients, partners and investors.

The speakers include Vice President of Tsinghua University, officials from Ministry of Environment, Secretary General of China Urban Water Association.
International participation in the summit currently comprises the Asian Development, UNIDO and the International Water Association (UK based industry professional association). These organizations will bring a technical/expert perspective, while the focus of the conference overall is strategic commercial opportunities.
The Israeli Session
During the discussions, UNIDO team will lead a session on water finance with the participation of Israeli companies in a part dedicated to Israeli technologies.
The participants are mainly from companies such as water investment companies, engineering companies, equipment manufacturers, financing service and water securities companies. There will also be some water supply and waste water treatment plants, plus a few government officials.
