Mayer’s Cars & Trucks Ltd. was founded in 1967 by the late Mayer Kass and is today owned jointly by the Kass and Shahar families. Uzi Mor serves as the company’s CEO. 

The Company Operates in a Number of Sectors  

Vehicle Sector 

In the vehicle sector the company and its subsidiaries offer a full package of services including: sales, trade-in, rental, leasing, finance and more. The Vehicle Group has over 2,400 employees and 104 sales and service centers all over the country. In 2010, the Group’s business volume amounted to $1.6 billion. 

• Importing and marketing Volvo, Jaguar and Honda cars. 

• Importing and marketing Volvo and Renault trucks. 

• Importing and marketing Volvo manufactured buses. 

• Importing and marketing Honda motorbikes. 

• Importing and marketing mechanical engineering equipment, manufactured by Volvo and Honda. 

• Operational leasing and rental - under international brand Hertz. 

• Bus manufacturing - partnership with Volvo Bus Sweden. 

• Public transportation in Israel, Serbia, Romania and Albania.

• Second hand car sales and trade-in through Auto-Center Ltd. 

• Importing and marketing Michelin tires in Israel.

• Equity holder of Phoenix, the third largest insurance corporation in Israel. 

• Ownership of Maccabi Haifa soccer club. 

• Partnership with Bank Discount Israel in real estate business.
