ECI has grown from a small technology company into an experienced global provider of networking solutions to the world’s largest carriers. A market leader in many emerging markets, including India, China and the former Soviet Union, ECI provides efficient, scalable infrastructure that serves as the foundation for the communications of tomorrow.
ECI has been at the forefront of telecommunications innovations for decades, from the telephone line doublers (1977), which enabled for the first time two conversations over one phone line, to more recent achievements, including HDSL (1993), optical ring-based networks (2000), toll-quality Voice-over-IP (2002), Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (2003) and 10-Degree Reconfigurable Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (2007).
ECI in China
China is an integral part of ECI’s long-term growth, we view our presence in China as strategic and vital to the success of ECI. We are increasing the investment in research and development activities in China year by year, and has now grown into the largest oversea R&D centre of ECI.
ECI China was established in 1995. Our activities in China include 2 independent R&D centres, a manufacturing site and speedy growing sales and support activity.
China is the first oversea R&D centre of ECI, the products we developed and manufactured target at global market. Our technical support team is competent to support APAC customers’ requirement.
